Being more body positive

Body image is something that seems to come up again and again in relation to young people’s mental health. Body image is your attitude towards your body. It’s how you see yourself, how you feel about the way you look and how you think others see you.

It sometimes feels like we are surrounded by people with perfect hair and teeth, glowing tanned skin or six packs. We don’t and we can’t all look like this and yet there seems to be pressure on us to try to achieve the ‘perfect’ look. We can feel like we’re not good enough the way we are.
