You can get an app for everything these days. Some are token ones, but others are more useful and can really add some value to your day-to-day activities.

iPhone-apps21As we become increasingly aware of the need to actively look after our health, both physical and mental, more apps are being developed to increase your sense of wellbeing.

If you are on an iPhone, there’s our very own WorkOut app. Give it a try.

In addition to WorkOut, there’s also an exciting new wellbeing app has been launched to do with increasing energy and getting into a good routine.

This could be especially useful to those whose sleeping patterns can be thrown off kilter with the longer days and brighter evenings.

Working in partnership are the Irish research partners involved in developing the app. Our partners are ReachOut Australia and the Brain and Mind Research Institute in Sydney.


We’re now planning a research study to explore if this app can help young men in Ireland and Australia to improve their quality of sleep and general wellbeing.

Getting involved

To do this we’re looking for male volunteers, 16-24 years-old, living in Ireland and who have an iPhone 5 or newer to join the research study.
