What is My Mind Matters?
My Mind Matters (MMM) was an online mental health and wellbeing resource for Irish third-level students.
Who was behind it?
It was a collaboration pilot project from the Irish Association of University and College Counsellors (IAUCC). The work was developed between the National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG), Trinity College Dublin (TCD), Dundalk Institute of Technology (DKIT) and University College Cork (UCC) but available to all.
What did it do?
The aim of MMM was to develop secure access for Irish third-level students to online, credible mental health and wellbeing information and various online support services. ReachOut.com contributed a good deal of content for the site.
Where is it now?
At the beginning of 2014, members of the IAUCC and ReachOut.com began discussion about managing the content for third level students for the future and here it is! MyMindMatters lives on, in ReachOut.com. We at ReachOut.com will continue to collaborate with IAUCC to develop quality mental health information.
