“Mental health issues affect everyone at some stage in their live. I feel it’s vital that there’s support out there for young people, specifically so that they don’t go through their twenties and thirties carrying this burden. I thought this would be a novel way to draw interest and raise money for”

Oliver hopes to raise €5,000 for, and is keeping track of his progress on his page, where visitors can make online donations. He has also been posting updates on his progress on his blog.

The story so far

So far, Oliver has managed to battle through his extensive training programme and with only a few injuries. Speaking to the 100 Marathon Club earlier this month, Oliver reported that he had already completed eight of the marathons. He intends to run his final marathon on the 29 December.

We’re amazed at Oliver’s tenacity and his efforts are greatly appreciated. We wish him the best of luck with the rest this challenge.
