Technology for Wellbeing Conference
ReachOut Ireland will host the 3rd annual Technology for Wellbeing International Conference on Thursday,
12 November, in The Marker Hotel, Dublin.
We are now calling for abstracts from interested researchers, service providers and students. Abstracts of no more than 250 words should be sent to email@example.com
by Friday, 4 September 2015.
Who will be attending
The Technology for Wellbeing Conference will be attended by a mix of service providers, policy makers, health managers, the technology sector, researchers, media, students and interested members of the public.
Selected conference topics
- Innovation in technology and mental health
- Social media and mental health
- Suicide prevention and the internet
- Mental health promotion / public messaging online
- National policy in technology and mental health
- Good practice in the safe delivery of online mental health services
- Crisis response protocols
- Technology, cybersafety and young people
- Youth participation and engagement with online interventions.
How to submit an abstract
Abstracts should include the presentation title, name(s) of author(s) and relevant affiliation. They should be no more than 250 words and submitted by Friday, 4 September 2015.
The Conference Programme Committee will review abstracts and authors will be notified of our decision by Friday, 2 October.
Papers chosen will reflect the range of conference topics. Presentations will include a mix researcher-led and practitioner-led presentations.
Research based on accepted abstracts will be presented at one of the conference parallel sessions. Presentations should be 15 minutes in duration.
