Eating disorders are a group of conditions characterised by abnormal eating habits that may involve either insufficient or excessive food consumption to the detriment of an individuals physical and emotional health.

An eating disorder can be very destructive, both physically and emotionally, and people can get trapped into the destructive cycle of the eating disorder without knowing how to cope with it
