Couch to 5K
There are many versions of Couch-to-5k, but essentially, this is a virtual coach gets you running across the 5 km finish line over the course of nine weeks.
Through sessions of 20-30 minutes, three times a week, using interval training to slowly build your fitness and help you become a runner.
Tracking your progress
You can listen to your own music as you train and map your route, calculating your distance and pace.
It’s encouraging and motivating as you can track and monitor your progress. You can share this too on Facebook, but personal goals are best!
