Childline text support

Childline also run a text service where you can text in for free about whatever is worrying you. You might feel more comfortable texting than talking on the phone, and you can get information on a range of issues.

If it’s outside work hours, they won’t always be able to text you back straight away. So, if it’s urgent or you are feeling scared, you can always call the helpline.
