Get involved

There are many ways that you can get involved with us by joining our Youth Advisory Network.

We know that everyone has different skills, interests and time to give, the network aims to create a space for you to engage with ReachOut.com as much or as little as you can.

ReachOut.com is active both online and offline and the network works with us in both areas.

Online activities

ReachOut.com is coordinated by the Online Communications Team. To help the team keep the website up to date and fresh we need people to create content and contribute ideas.

  • Content creator

We need writers, photographers, animators and film makers to create content for ReachOut.com. Some of our Youth Ambassadors have written blogs and submitted images for the website in the past. If you are skilled in these areas or maybe you just have a story to tell and want to help out we will provide you with a toolkit and our Online Communications Team will work with you to create relevant content.

  • Contributing ideas

Got an idea for our service? Let us know! Tell us about the issues and topics that really matter to you so that ReachOut.com can stay up to date.

Offline activities

You can also get involved in offline activities such as:

  • Fundraising

Big or small, fundraising events are vitally important to us at Reachout.com. We will support you through our fundraising toolkit. Fundraising events that have been organised to date include table quizzes and running marathons in aid of ReachOut.com.

  • Awareness building

Awareness building in your community is everything from placing some ReachOut.com posters in your school, college or local club to organising an event that promotes a positive message around youth mental health and helps us to reach more people.

  • Events

Volunteer with us at events where we promote ReachOut.com. Our Community Engagement team bring ReachOut.com to various places from College events to music festivals like Oxegen and Kings of Concrete.

  • Spreading the word

Like the site but feel that you do not have the time to get more involved? Why not tell your friends about us or link up with us on our Facebook page.

Ok, I’ve read all that, what next?

Thank you for your interest in getting involved. We hope that you are inspired to mail nigel@inspireireland.ie to join our Youth Ambassador Network!

Check out the first time some of the network met up.
