Helping you get through tough times

Camino Groups: Find our way

A positive approach to school tours, “Find Our Way” is a pilot project for 2017 marking an exciting new way to promote mental health in schools.

ReachOut.com and Camino Groups are working together to promote positive mental health to students while creating a school tour that merges perfectly with wellbeing.

What is involved?

For a school tour that gives students an experience unlike any other school tour, contact Camino Groups, specialists in Camino tours for Irish schools. They will facilitate the trip of a lifetime, organising flights, accomodation and give preparation workshops to students, teachers and parents.

ReachOut.com will also provide an interactive positive mental health workshop to students and teachers and resource your school with marketing material and ongoing online information and supports.

Fundraising for the trip

You might consider fundraising for ReachOut.com as part of the project. This could help to reduce the cost of the school tour, for example, for every €1 raised, 50% could go towards reducing the cost of the trip and 50% towards ReachOut.com.

All funds raised for ReachOut.com will be used to deliver our Classroom Champion Challenge in Irish schools.

Camino Groups feedback:

“[The school tour] has sent a huge positive vibe around the whole school. Students will be getting up to speak about it at the graduation ceremonies. It has been unbelievable the effect that this trip has had on our students and the positivity they have brought back with them! We already want to look at booking for next year”

– Virginia, Organising teacher, Confey College, Leixlip

“It proved to be the highlight of transition year for many of the students…We are hoping to travel again in April/May 2017”

– Owen, Organising teacher, Blackrock College, Dublin
